Magical Installation With Gracious Porcelain Tiles

Porcelain tiles have become the choice of many people as it is affordable and durable. There is a lot of natural stone designs at affordable rates. Some have wood grains, large format, textured appearance and many other trendy designs to match any type of décor. Tiles can be chosen but how to install also adds to the décor. How to align the tiles in a room is a special art. Here are some of the ways the tiles are placed. These installations highlight the tiles and define the room décor.

Horizontal Installation

Putting the tiles straight horizontally is a common one used everywhere. Graphite Focus Porcelain of size 12×24 looks larger and it can be placed in one direction. These tiles make space look larger and the mid-tone gray colors give a calm illusion. Though dark color makes the room look small it can be balanced with large door and neutral wall shade. Adding a horizontal large carpet also gives a big feeling.

Vertical Installation

If any space has to look elongated then it is better to follow the vertical pattern. When two rooms are joined together then this pattern is the best. There is a flow from one room to another with Glacier Focus Porcelain in 12×24 format tiles. Basically, this tile is with white background and sand tones on the surface. If kitchen and dining hall is joined then the lines are continuous and look marvelous with the continuity.

Perpendicular Installation

When the same tile is used for small spaces like bathroom this installation is ideal. Khaki Focus Porcelain can be used for both the wall and flooring. If the design is placed horizontally in the flooring then it is placed vertically in the wall to give a perpendicular layout. They are in one direction on the floor and completely reversed on the wall. Even if it is a small space, the tonal stripes give a bigger feeling.

Brick Pattern Installation

Here Olive Focus Porcelain is placed offset of the below tile to give the brick layout. This sleek tile is olive green in color with very light stripes. There is movement because of the stripes which highlight the motion everywhere.

 

Brick Pattern With Color

Giving more colors to the flooring gives a colorful layout. Glacier Focus Porcelain, Olive Focus Porcelain and Graphite Focus Porcelain together is used to give the brick pattern. The dark and light colors give the horizontal and vertical patterns. The light colors and put in one row and the dark colors are arranged in the next row. They are installed in the brick pattern to give a bold design.
